The Â鶹´«Ã½ Trade Commission is extending by sixty days the deadline to submit comments as part of the agency’s review of its Funeral Rule. The deadline was originally April 14, 2020; it is now June 15, 2020.

The FTC announced in February that it would accept comments on a wide range of issues related to the Funeral Rule. In response to requests from potential commenters for an extension due to the coronavirus pandemic, the FTC will soon publish a notice in the Â鶹´«Ã½ Register announcing the comment deadline extension.

The Commission voted 5-0 to submit the notice to the Â鶹´«Ã½ Register for publication.
